How does it work?
The mainframe consists of a plurality of sliding blades set in a rotor that rotates around an eccentric shaft in a static airtight cylinder. As the rotor turns, centrifugal force causes the blades to slide and extend into the longitudinal grooves of the rotor. In the extended state, these blades function like vanes, adjusting to the shape of the cylinder as the rotor is driven. When the pressure-driven intake valve (regulating piston) opens, incoming air enters the main unit. This happens once the designed operating conditions are reached. The air is drawn into the cylinder by the rotating vanes, which seal the space as they pass through the compression area. Due to the eccentricity of the cylinder walls and rotor, the volume between the blades is reduced and the air is compressed. After maximum compression, the air is discharged through an outlet. In the compressor, the intensive injection of coolant reduces the overall temperature of the compression cycle and ensures adequate lubrication. The injected coolant also acts as an active sealant to keep the blades airtight.
