1.5KW Electric Power Steering System
NF EHPS-1010R1 5311AB02
EHPS, short for Electro-hydraulic Power Steering, is a technology that falls between traditional hydraulic power steering and pure electric power steering. Traditional HPS: Its hydraulic pump is directly driven by the engine via a belt. As long as the engine is running, the pump operates continuously, consuming energy. This is one reason why the steering wheel is heaviest, and fuel consumption increases when traditional gasoline-powered cars are idling. EHPS: It replaces the engine with a dedicated electric motor. This electric motor is specifically designed to drive the hydraulic pump, thereby generating hydraulic power steering.
Quantity:
1.5KW Electric Power Steering System represents the evolution of conventional hydraulic steering into the electric era, replacing engine drive with an electric motor while retaining hydraulic lines and fluid. The ECU adjusts motor speed in real time based on vehicle speed and steering angle, enabling on-demand flow and pressure for precise assistance. Built on mature hydraulic technology.
EHPS delivers robust steering power, making it ideal for light- to heavy-duty commercial vehicles such as buses and trucks.

Products Advantages: (1) High energy efficiency: Provides energy on demand, significantly reducing energy consumption and improving the range of electric vehicles. (2) Adjustable power assist characteristics: The power assist level can be flexibly set at different vehicle speeds via software, optimizing the driving experience. (3) Good compatibility: Retains a mature hydraulic power assist structure, providing very strong and clear road feel assistance, especially suitable for heavier SUVs and commercial vehicles. (4) Relatively low cost: Compared to pure electric EPS, EHPS may be more cost-effective for vehicles requiring significant power assist. (5) Safety redundancy: Even if part of the electronic system fails, a certain amount of mechanical hydraulic power assist is still retained, ensuring high safety.
